Salisbury, MD — The Eastern Shore Literacy Association is stoked to release its 2022-2023 rendition of the Young Authors’ Contest. The two category contest (i.e., poetry and short stories) is the largest three-county writing contest of its kind on the Eastern Shore. Students in grade 1-12 are asked to submit an original poem or short story.

The submission window will open October 1 and go through December 16, 2022. Entries will be scored in early January and Finalists will be notified in early February with the culminating celebration slated for March 2023.
