Young Authors’ Contest


In conjunction with the State of Maryland Literacy Association (SoMLA), the Eastern Shore Literacy Association hosts its annual Young Authors’ Contest for elementary, middle, and high school students in Somerset, Wicomico, and Worcester counties. Student are allowed to attend public, private, or home schools in the previously mentioned Maryland counties. For more information regarding the contest contact Brian Cook and Lizanne Wallace.

  • All submissions will be submitted through Google Forms below. Go to the appropriate grade level and category and select the link. You will be redirected to a Google Form and be asked to login into your Google Account. On the form, list your student’s name and school and upload your cover sheet and student writing.
