Salisbury, MD — The Eastern Shore Reading Council will open its summer break with its annual Teachers as Readers book club featuring The Dry by Jane Harper. The groups’ initial meeting is slated for Thursday, June 22, 2017 at 10 at Barnes and Noble in Salisbury. Individuals wishing to begin the event with breakfast at Panera Bread may begin congregating at 9:15 a.m. that same day.

“We are a group of educators who love to read,” Michelle Shreeves, chairperson of the initiative, indicated as the group plans to meet on the fourth Thursday of each month throughout the summer. “Together as a group we decide on a book. Then we meet to discuss it.”
