September 1 marks the beginning of Literacy Month 2025, and we’re thrilled to celebrate with YOU! This year’s theme, “Every Page Has a Purpose,” invites us to explore the power of reading all month long. Join us as we lift up joyful literacy habits and shared reading experiences:

Week-by-Week Highlights:

• Week 1 (Sept 1–6): Starting Strong
  Kick things off by setting reading goals and creating meaningful, joyful literacy moments.
• Week 2 (Sept 7–13): Readers in the Wild
  Celebrate reading wherever it happens—on the beach, at bus stops, or in the park. Let’s map joyful reading moments everywhere!
• Week 3 (Sept 14–20): #MyBookVoice
  Encourage young readers to share their stories and the books they love. Let’s give them a voice—and a spotlight.
• Week 4 (Sept 21–27): Together We Read
  Let’s make shared reading a habit. Take the pledge to read together as a family and build a lasting connection.
• Week 5 (Sept 28–30): Public Places, Reading Spaces
  Honor libraries and communal reading spots that safeguard children’s right to read.
